Feeling the slump? Walk it off

Yep, it’s that time of day. The dreaded afternoon slump.
Why not give your day a little lift with a quick mindful walk?
Step 1
Head outside, pick your favourite route and begin walking at a natural pace. Can’t make it into the great outdoors? No problem, enjoy a mindful walk indoors instead.
Step 2
In your head, name everything you can hear and everything you can see.
Step 3
Continue walking for a few minutes, observing your surroundings.
Step 4
When you’re ready to head back, bring focus to yourself.
Concentrate on the sound of your footsteps and rhythm of your walk until you get back to work.
Sometimes you just need time to uplift your energy to help reset and remain focused for the remainder of the day.
